We worked with Western Health to develop a campaign to encourage patients to get out of bed, get moving and ultimately get home.
Too many patients are losing muscle strength and function from spending too much time in bed. Staying in bed increases your chances of a fall and prolongs your stay in hospital.
We approached the campaign with a little humour to ensure it was easy to understand and fun to engage with for, patients to take action themselves without feeling pressured to do so.
The campaign also provided a platform to educate staff in assisting patients in getting out of bed and active again.
