Spirited adventurers Katie and Travis were looking for a new adventure, enter Alt Rd winery.
After acquiring a winery in the Otway Hinterlands, Grit was engaged to construct their brand strategy, branding, and ultimately launch their newly labelled wines and website.
The branding needed to feel grounded, authentic and have a deep connection to the environment. A custom typeface was developed for the wordmark, the gentle flow of the integrated tilde pays hommage to the rolling hills of the Otway Hinterland and the coastal waves of the nearby Great Ocean Road.
The labels are layered with the rolling hills of the Otway Hinterland and coloured to match the moments each wine is perfect for.
Drawn from a place where the Otways meets the sea; green countryside tones with cool coastal vibes combine to create a soft, cool, calming and considered palette.
